How the Consultation Process Works

2. Preliminary Medical Information

For certain procedures, photographs may also be useful.
3. Initial Assessment
The information you provide may help identify whether an in-person consultation is appropriate.
At this stage, no surgical result or treatment plan can be guaranteed.
4. Consultation in Antalya
During your consultation, I examine the relevant anatomy and discuss the available options.
I explain the surgical technique, limitations, scars, recovery and potential complications.
5. Surgical Planning
If surgery is appropriate, the next steps include the necessary medical assessment, hospital arrangements and informed consent.
6. Postoperative Care
Patients receive postoperative instructions and follow-up appropriate to the procedure.
International patients may continue follow-up communication after returning home.

Can I Send Photographs Before Travelling?
For certain procedures, photographs may help with preliminary assessment.
However, photographs have limitations.
They cannot reliably demonstrate every aspect of tissue quality, muscle function, skin elasticity or underlying anatomy.
If photographs are required, my team can explain which views are useful and how to submit them privately.
Photographs are used for assessment only in accordance with the applicable privacy and consent arrangements.
A surgical plan cannot be finalised from photographs alone.
Can I Arrange an Online Consultation?
International patients may begin with remote communication before travelling.
An online discussion can help clarify concerns and explain the consultation process.
However, remote assessment does not replace physical examination.
Some conditions require direct examination or additional medical investigations before a surgical recommendation can be made.
Where Is Surgery Performed?
I perform major aesthetic surgical procedures under general anaesthesia in fully equipped hospitals in Antalya, Turkey.
Major operations are not performed in my consultation office.
The hospital and anaesthetic arrangements depend on the planned procedure and the patient’s medical requirements.
These details are discussed during surgical planning.
How Long Should I Stay in Antalya?
The recommended length of stay depends on the operation and recovery.
For many procedures, I generally advise planning approximately 7–10 days in Antalya for early postoperative care.
However, more extensive operations may require a longer stay.
The appropriate return date depends on wound healing, mobility, general recovery and the risk of postoperative complications.
Patients should not arrange an inflexible return journey before discussing the expected recovery period.
What Happens After I Return Home?
Healing continues after patients leave Antalya.
Depending on the operation, swelling and scar maturation may continue for several months.
My team and I can maintain follow-up communication after international patients return home.
However, remote follow-up cannot replace direct medical examination when complications or urgent concerns arise.
Patients should seek local medical attention when necessary.
